I don't mind playing out from the back when we are facing the opposition goal. but ****ing about facing our own goal is a recipe for disaster and it invariably ends with Patto hoofing it anyway. Safety first when the opposition are pressing
On a kind of embarrassing note, a mate of mine who’s a Millwall fan went today and was constantly reminded he couldn’t take cash in. Then tried to buy a programme to be told it was cash only pretty cringe that
Probably worded that wrong. Super dangerous would be right. They always looked like scoring or creating from them.
One point to ponder on, we are slightly above mid-table, after not having any strikers (as such) for a fair chunk of time. Also still not scored from a set piece! Millwall have 16 set piece goals. This augurs well for the 2nd half of the season, if we can get everybody fit.
Good point mate. With Alese, Batth, Stewart, Ballard and Simms we'd score from a corner simply by law of averages.
He's been very good all season, I'm not sure what else he can do to make people stop saying they don't rate him.
Luke O'Nien has been solid all season. I can't see how anybody says they don't rate him. He reminds me a bit of Grant Leadbitter, PL no,,, Championship...the unsung hero. Luke- we love you for the commitment you put in, always 100%.
I love Luke O’Nien. I think he’s slightly limited in a midfield two when the game pace is high, even if Nacho can prove he’s great there. But he’s consistently good everywhere else. Work rate. Consistency. Intelligence. And a knack for goal that can’t be taught. The way he’s adapted to centre back just can’t be fluked. He’s a proper footballer.z I know a couple of people who know him really well (from different backgrounds), and both say he’s a top lad and extremely hard working. Both for himself and others. Genuinely would keep him as a squad player if we fluked the premier league as he seems the type who’d work his arse off to raise his game. I bet he’d be a magnificent man marker coming on for last 10 mins to keep the top attackers quiet In the mean time it’s awesome to have somebody like him who can basically fill in for any injury crisis (except perhaps on the wing but I’m sure he’d give it a go )
Don't really know what was said to the ref but on tv you could see TM talking to the 4th official then just after the ref stated to give some fairer decisions and stopped falling for their falling over so we can pump the ball into the box tactics, it also coincided with them getting the yellow cards which also meant that the rough housing had to slow down. Don't know if it was coincidence but seemed to change the game
