They appear to have issues at left back, so I'm hoping Roberts has a good game. I think Mundle could cause problems for Ayling too, so our wingers and full backs have to be on it tomorrow.

Centre midfield is a real strength for them but ours isn't too bad either, although I do worry slightly about the lack of experience at times. It's a shame Samed is only just returning to fitness because if he was 100% I think he'd be a great option to control the centre of the pitch.

No I won’t. I have a season ticket but only get to a handful of away games when I can.

You may prefer to watch from your couch with catering and toilet breaks ...

... but, if you want to go, I can get you into the Boro section.

Don't ask how, Smug works in mysterious ways <laugh>

RLB mentioning that they're a narrow team is an interesting observation, perhaps that means offensively we can get around them but defensively we need to be more compact and narrow as well, which requires a lot of ground to be covered by our wingers, who knows.

Interesting that I'm seeing quite a few of our lot pick a draw for this one, in contrast to the confidence going in against Plymouth. I think this will be a tight game that might be decided by a piece of magic. A mazy Roberts run, weaving past 3 or 4 defenders and putting it on a plate for someone, or perhaps a rare Hume piledriver from 30 yards. Something out of the ordinary or unlikely.

Thanks for the offer mate but I’ll give it a miss. I actually know one of the Boro players so can usually sort away tickets if I fancy the trip. Thanks again though

I reckon we'd beat Plymouth 7 times, out of every ten games, to be realistic ...

... their fans were amazed they'd won. treated it like they'd just qualified for the play offs.

I don't disagree, what makes football the best sport in the world is its unpredictability, looks like too many of our lads didn't turn up and it was one of those 3 in 10. Life summed up tbh.

Sorry to disappoint lads n lasses but no outlandish prediction this week. 2-2 but hoping we can get the win and gain revenge for last season and D.Neils ridiculous sending off.

Cheers RTB. Another tremendous write up.

Another great thread RTB thanks again. A difficult game as most are in this league but one where I think we can win. A decent performance after last week and a point wouldn't be a disaster but I really do think we can nick this one. Keep the faith lads and lasses.

Sod it! I'll dig an old scarf out from somewhere and get the grandson to take his. We'll be waving them proudly in the concourse!
