Completely agree. Think RLB has said they're looking, but no particular panic...they want the right appointment, and, you're right, may ultimately decide they don't need it. He definately had confidence in,and deferred to, Proctor to give out the instructions to Mundle.....gives the indication of a unified set-up behind the scenes.

It’s going to happen only because of the type of player he is.

Love it! However,am I alone in thinking we should sing another verse....always seems too short to me...and would surely build the atmosphere more?
At Anfield, for example,YNWA goes on for yonks and surely intimidates the opposition more?

The little left foot right foot combo, at speed, is brilliant. A little guesswork from me here but look at the way the keepers dives, many players would take the touch and let their leg be taken by the goalie and hope for a penno as they are going wide. Rigg seems made of different stuff. Absolute faith in his talent. He must never lose that.

I assume when Hume is suspended, Luke will go to right back and Ballard and Mephem in center

Yet Barnes and Bennet yesterday before the match were banging on about them having no voice during matches and the reason we haven’t appointed a no. 2 yet is because “the club” and Lebris can’t agree. At times those to really do my head in.

Ridiculously rough today but it was worth it. Cracking day yesterday. The SOL is becoming a fortress.

Was doing some stats for a mate who writes SAFC articles. Our home record has been pretty poor at certain points over the last few years. 11 home defeats last season for example. It would be great to see us have a really strong home season this year

Yep. I can remember one season under Bruce where we were excellent at home, really tough to beat - hopefully it’s the same this season.

2009/10 season I think W-9 D-7 L-3 which is outstanding for us in the PL

Nope, will impact how we shape up defensively

I think o9 will be moved to RB n Ballard in alongside Mepham

With that back line you could play a couple of formations - o9 tucking in as RB and leting Cirkin bomb on down the left OR a conventional back 4. You could easily slip between both systems within the same game

I think it would be like for like, o9 would offer similar qualities to Hume in the RB position imo
