I asked a copper if all leave had been cancelled for the day. Just seemed completely overboard.

One of my cousins is a cop so I can claim ITK for the first time ever!
They all had their rest day cancelled ages ago- the whole Force.
So it was done for free as all of the cops there should have been on a day off. Poor buggers..
Helicopter fuel would have been the only expense.

Over a century of rivalry has been severely diluted with the Saudi Magpies. So I would say our rivalry with Boro has gone up a notch or two as a result.

I'm on my nightshifts so I set my alarm and watched the match in bed. Thought the commentary was decent - especially when they had O'Nien co-commenting for the first 20 mins. There's no way he can be a co commentator when he finally hangs up his boots as he was answering a question and stopped half way through as we were attacking the final third! <laugh>. He also had a good word about Bally and how he helped him settle into the club when he first signed. Don Goodman even thought that Bally would've been proud of that challenge that got O'Nien sent off last week <laugh>

A thing of absolute beauty, the Reading goal was v 11 whilst this was against 10 but I'm splitting hairs really.

    Evening all.

After a couple of weeks away I couldnt stay away longer. Watching this team today all I wanted was to be chatting to like minded lads and lasses. This place has been really good for me.

Some might know why I went. I would rather not regurgitate that. Please dont mention it as I have decided to forget it, upset as I was. I am one of those older fellas who sometimes cant seperate what is said in person from on anonymous forum.

Bloody good today. We have a team and club to enjoy and be proud of. Trai Hume was superb and I thought Dan Neil was just about MOM. Neil has gone up another level last few weeks for me - very very good player. Love them all though and Ballard is a beast. Michut is a real talent, we would be mad not to sign him.

Anyway, feels good to be back and have loved reading this match day thread. As always loads of brill opinions.

Thought it was a good team performance, especially with the form Carrick had them in. We finally had something go our way with the penalty and sending off and I thought the way Michut and Neil played together we didn't miss Evans's experience. Good day all round and good to see you posting again

Good man! And right about the players you mentioned. Among six or seven who could have been MOM.

It's a good team to watch. They always look to help each other on the pitch, can handle the ball under pressure, have talent aplenty, fight until the last minute, and mostly,.. look too young to get in the pub!
