Tin hat on and no doubt I'll get pelters but the cry babies who left as the 2nd goal went in are an embarrassment. **** off and don't come back if that's your reaction to a defeat when we are 4th in the league having won 6 out of the last 7
Same as the bloke behind me that from minute 1 was moaning like **** about everything. If its that bad, don't come and let the rest of us enjoy it
Some people go to a game just to see their team win - not to watch a game of football. Theses are the people who boost the size of gates when their team are being successful. 45,000? Take away the good-time-Charlie’s and the real support is much less.
11 v 11 and a close game and I'd agree with you. 14 v 10 and two goals down, not so much. Game's long gone, zero chance of a comeback under the circumstances, and people have busy lives. Why not claw an hour back where you can. By all means, sit and have your misery compounded if you want.
I often go with friends, as I did on Wednesday, but never sit in the right seat. If I get a pro-whinger near me I just move again before I lose it and have a go at them ... ... some people just think their endless miserable commentary makes them 'a character' that everyone grudgingly admires. It must be fkn murder having a SC near one
Because we are there to support our team not just walk out like a baby when things aren't going our way. Would people still have "busy lives" if we are 4-0 up? Doubt it
I had words today and got the usual " I pay the same as you and I will say what I want" speech. As i told him, he might pay the same as us but that doesn't mean he has to piss everybody around him off. 4 people thanked me for speaking up as they are sick of it
Does he post any other ?, if so, I must have missed it . Monty's posts are a bit of light relief on here, and always welcome imo. Sorry to be fussy but do you mean Crooke mate, he should hve been carded at least 4 times in that game twice in both halves
I understand it, but the thing is you'll not see it applied consistently. It's ok to book Dan Neil for it, but when will you see someone for City, Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool etc. get booked for it? Klopp, Ainsworth etc. will still act like prats on the touchline with no consequences, but others will get booked for a lot less. And useless officials will hide behind it to cover up their cock ups, using the threat to stop players and coaches from approaching them to question a decision or appeal legitimately. It's the lack of consistency applying it that's an issue for me. You'll still see people getting away with it, so the ones who think it's currently ok to abuse grass roots refs will still do it.
Nothing against the team, but the referee ended the game as a competition at half time. He emptied the stadium by his actions. If it was the way you'd described, supporters would be walking out every time we were under the cosh.
And these lads deserve it imo. No hiding, no not trying just playing for the shirt and to me thats everything
Cheers mate. Bloody autocorrect changed it. Sometimes I catch it and correct it before I post it, but not always! Doesn't help that I've got a couple of mates with the surname "Cook", so it must have thought I was typing about them!
