Right… I’m definitely getting there early for a pint before the game this weekend. If any of you trust me PM me your number and I’ll text when I make it to Sunderland so I can catch some of you.

Seriously considering booking a London hotel
For the weekend of the final!! Taking the whole family and making a weekend of it!!

You have my number mate, happy to meet up for a pint. My son, who I think you met in the pre-Wembley pub, is coming up. We'll be in the New Railway, Sloanes, Chaplins and Museum on our way to the ground.

Great stuff, we're meeting some mates flying into Newcastle airport, where we've booked rooms, and getting the Metro there and back.

They've been talking about moving since I first went there in the seventies <doh>

"Surrounded by tight residential streets on the edge of the town centre, Kenilworth Road's floodlights tower above back-to-back terraced houses. It has been the club's home since 1905."

"But with the 10,356-capacity ground deemed no longer fit for purpose, the Hatters are preparing to move to a new, purpose-built 23,000-seat stadium, Power Court."

Can’t wait. Me, my son and my nephew will be there just like we have been all season. So proud of this current team and Mowbray has done an unbelievable job. SAFC are a joy to watch currently. Ha’way the lads.

Hope I'm wrong but I think Luton will win 1-3. With our injuries and their quality at set pieces and our lack of height I think we'll struggle.

If Luton score 3, which they might....we'll just have to score 4.
I wouldn't rule out these young lads doing it either....they are fearless.

I don't think they've scored more than two away this year ... one goal seems to be their limit. I can't see them scoring three at the SOL but, to be fair, a few have done just that this season.

Went there in the seventies too. Malcom MacDonald was playing for them and making a name for himself. If memory serves me correctly Colin Todd was at the back for us before he moved on. Had MacDonald in his back pocket that day and we won 2 - 1. Went to the players entrance after the game and Eric Morecambe out with his black and white pipe. Had the fans in stitches with some of his comments and looks. Got to believe we can do this. I think there back four will be sh*tying feathers when our forward line gets the ball.

They've scored 3 three times this season but have conceded 3 or more as many times in the league. Once more if you include cup ties

I seem to remember them being battered by Grimsby in a knockout competition ...

... let's hope their league form doesn't transfer.

I can't see passed a 1-1 scoreline. We always seem to draw 1-1 with this lot. I have a horrible feeling it's going to pens on Tuesday

Great, mightier than the sword <laugh>

Seriously I think the referee will have to be brave on Saturday. Luton are very aggressive and physical while we have players who'll run at speed into the box ... if it's a foul in the area give the penalty ffs!

I also believe Luton will be nervous when we're passing the ball around at speed in the penalty area ...

... teams just don't know how to cope with it.

I just hope the referee doesn't allow Luton to kick our players and get away with it. Even if it's the first or last minute the referee needs to run the game and not allow the Luton players to crowd and intimidate him.

I think there'll be goals. I'm going for 2-2 on Saturday and 3-2 to us on Tuesday.....one of Patrick,Pele,Jack or Joffy to get the winner in the last knockings.
