Reg got it wrong tonight and took far to long to change it, think guiu will score plenty goals this season his movement is mint. Hopefully nobody took any knocks and we go again on Saturday when it matters most. Ohhhh and leeds lost so thats a plus.
Positives for me: -mukilele, hope we can keep him fully fit -masuku, one of the only ones to actually look a level above -Isidors best Lw cameo (granted the opposition was poor) -guiu got a goal (still think mayenda is ahead of him as a player personally) Really frustrated to go out myself, so many benefits to being in and it just takes a couple of wins and all of a sudden you’re in a quarter final. As been said the 4-4-2 set up was an error that ultimately cost us. I think there are question marks over Roberts and whether he can contribute to us in the prem or is he worth selling now, either way, we need a new winger for competition and added quality. Also have some concerns with Rigg if I’m honest. Think he needs to step up a couple of levels if he’s to contribute. Doesn’t help he’s moved positions all the time, the lad is not a winger at all imo. Only a kid, has a load of potential, but we need everyone to be able to stand up this year if we are to stay up.
Just got home Frustrating night. Thought we were awful in that first half, probably should’ve won it in the second. Fair play to Huddersfield, defended very well at times. I hope they get a decent tie in the next round.
Leeds aren't looking great and have Newcastle at home next ... ... hopefully they'll kick lumps out of each other.
Everything seems to have a nasty tone to it these days, people jumping on anyone who disagrees with them. You could see how angry Bowen was after the Sunderland game ... ... he seems like a decent lad and deserves better in my opinion.
Positives Better second half Guihi scoring Two new lads at the back showed some good signs We scored 5 penalties in a row Negatives Too pedestrian at times and need to up intensity Onwards and upwards
Yes it seemed like a training session at first although, tbf, some players were only just getting to know their team mates. I was very impressed with four of the eleven and that's a good result in my view.
So glad I wasted an evening at home on that ****e Positives Mukiele looked imperious (albeit against a ****e team) Musuaku looked tidy and untroubled Harrison Jones looked stronger than last season and did a job at LB Negatives If RLB isn't interested in the cup games he should just be open with the fans. ****e team selection and tactics, we looked a million miles off it until he switched the formation in the 2nd half. Dan Neil - awful. Slowed everything down with his extra touches and sideways passes Huggins - looked a shadow of the player he was 2 years ago. Looks to have lost some pace too. Appears to be injured again Rigg - out of position, and it showed. Better 2nd half when he was moved to the middle Le Fee - plenty of fancy touches, all fart and nee ****e Part Time Fans - Mams and bairns shouting random soundbites they've read on the internet Apart from that it was brilliant
A lot of casual straight up idiots will moan about Aleksic, but he created our goal. Issue is we didnt have a proper centre back in from the start and Regis set us up poorly. **** because we supposedly wanted to challenge, we best win the FA Cup then...
Seemly some one got there leg stuck in the back of the seat ? That’s what one of the head stewards told us
I do wonder if stopping a match for some of these things is an over reaction. Without knowing details of course.
