Roberts really poor and nowhere near PL quality

Very disappointed. I definitely understood the way we approached the cups last season considering it was a 50+ game season with a very small trusted group of players. This season though I don't understand it, although that 11 should've been good enough to beat a heavily changed Huddersfield side.

Tactical setup was all wrong first half. Looked better 2nd half after the tweak but still not enough. Some shocking individual performances as well.

Well in true Sunderland fashion we've all been brought back to reality after an amazing first game of the season which now appears to have not been as good as we thought seeing how bad West ham look this season.

A poor performance and defeat on Sat followed by an unacceptable performance tonight with multi million pound players on the pitch with a point to prove to Le Bris in why they should be starting games for us. Going to bed feeling deflated tonight.

 

Never mind, bigger game on Saturday so we can’t dwell too much.

I dont see the point in getting minutes into players, playing out of position.
