It’s very rare to beat a premiership side over two games, you usually only get that first chance, fingers crossed this is another bogey that can be binned.

We've binned all kinds of bogeys recently, from winning consecutive games to scoring from dead balls ...

... hopefully tonight will be youngest ever FA Cup hat trick and a Sunderland game with no f*ck*ng injuries!!!

Sounds like Rigg will be involved again today. Would anyone stick him in from the start? Play him as a false 9 and tell him just to get on the ball and create stuff......

Tempted but I think I'd give him a run out later in game regardless of the score. Give him 20 or 30 mins though rather than a couple.

I'd play him the last half hour or so, give him a chance to finish his homework.

    I'd definitely play him.

He'll never get a better home start imo. It's not against a team of cloggers like Millwall, it's not a vital game and those in the ground will be supporters who've paid to be there. In my experience they're less critical and more clued up.

The worst that can happen is that we lose to a top half PL side ....

... I'm sure Rigg could handle that, I know I can.

It'll also tell the lad Sunderland is a good place to be where he'll definitely get chances.
