Ok so you as a scout think, he is at his age and experience, is a good quality footballer.???
Even for his age, IMHO I think he has been bulled up to believe all the hype poured on him.
Sunderland do this quite often, build a young player up then he gets ahead of himself.
I was not being disrespectful on my comment just having a jib with you.

But you are being disrespectful. You are sat on a message board calling a player gutless and a bottlejob.

From a scouting point of view - yes hes a very good player. Hes playing for a huge club where the pressure is on every single game. Yet he never goes hiding, he always wants on the ball and his first thought is to pass forward. According to wyscout, which all major teams use, he is ranked as the 10th best cm in the league this season - only one of them of the players ahead of him are younger than him, alex scott.

He has won the 5th most tackles in the league this season for a cm and all the ones ahead of him are experienced championship players.

Hes an England u20 international, i watched him in those games and he qas a stand out btw.

I dont get carried away by our prospects. I judge them on performances and potential. Neils potential is huge, he has everything youd look for in a cm and i have no doubt he will play in the premier league for a good few yrs.

Yes games used to bypass him by at the start of the season but its a massive step up from L1 and hes only getting better.

You make comments like he doesnt get stuck in and gets bullied yet all the stats say otherwise. Theres a reason why PL teams are watching him very closely.

I dont get the hatred for him, you always mention him yet the boy has been class the last few months.

It's fine and a good discussion, scout thinks we'll of the lad.
I think he has been blown up by TM and the fans.
Let's see if he starts at QPR or if TM rests him.
Look this ain't a slagging match it's just about opinions
