Without stating the obvious just get through the early part of the game without giving them any gifts. If one of their players crashes in a worldie then so be it but make them work hard for anything they get. The mentality is where this game is won and lost. If the lads carry the same as the first leg then everything will be fine. Split the game into time sections....get through the first 15 minutes not giving anything away. By this time we will want to exert ourselves on the game hence an earlier post about putting O9 in midfield and Mepham at the back. It's like the Luton play off game a couple of years ago at their place we know what will be coming....another big performance from Big Dan and we should be right there. Keep Mayenda and Isidor upfront because these two can kill the game for us and give us all a more enjoyable night. The more the game goes on with the score as it is at the moment both the front lads should relish this. I'm going for the same result as the first leg with Coventry scoring first. It's Sunderland so it never goes easy but I think the same two who got the goals in the first leg will repeat for this game. As we know an early goal for us would give them a mountain to climb so that's a nice thought. We got this lads....HTL!!!!

 

There was some rumour that we've moved the advertising boards closer to limit long throws? Dunno if anyone heard similar.

Personally dont think so but wouldnt mind SAFC playing the dark arts. Would be a good idea to be fair.

 

Id love to see him drop Roberts for Mundle and go wild with the pace and press. I dont know if Mundle would be smart from the bench incase he aggravates his issue and we are forced into another sub. Get him from the start so we can make a strong effort early, get Le Fee central as much as possible, our midfield three could torture theres I reckon.

 

Can see the appeal, but to reference alt endings video - imagine mundle coming on against a tired Van Ewjik and Sakamoto on that side.

 

Yeh I wouldn’t start Mundle. Save him for the last 25 mins and the final.

I think we’ll see an unchanged side but a slightly different approach.
