Haven’t read all the posts but I’m happy with what RLB has been doing. Players needed a rest and we’ll be fresh for the playoffs. Last couple of games play our striker negative - spot on. Loads of people were moaning about no rotation. You’ve now had what you asked for.

Decent effort today from a weakened team and has told RLB a few things.

Pleased that Watson played well and put in the effort. We may need him yet. Booing him is stupid. I’d previously had doubts about playing him but if we need him we need him and with effort like that he should leave on good terms with the fans.

To be honest no one really disappointed me today although Isador could really do with a goal.

So are we to moan and kick off at every game when a kid playing out of position balls up at the back post?

The wider fan base doesn't have the patience or understanding of where the club is at the minute.

The thing I always find funny about the “it’s too easy” line is that if it was actually too easy, they’d have done it more than once

In all honesty it was better than Swansea. Again a poor goal in a sense it seemed easy to get through the back line

I wish someone would gamble more in the box. A couple of crosses were just not attacked

Our corners were as often is the case poor.

Jones tried hard, Mepham as solid as ever. Anderson although reluctant I thought to overlap did nothing particularly wrong. Could do with Le Fee and Wilson stepping up. Jobe did OK but could do with a goal.

It was hardly O'Nien's fault he had multiple players to mark in the box, not sure where Mepham had vanished to.

Not saying it was his ‘fault’, just didn’t seem to get close enough. Good point about Mepham mind

I get your point, but I think there are other things in the background.
So I will leave that there

That's the problem Bob, you never leave it …

… but never explain anything either.

It’s all just vague comments and implying we're all dummies being taken for a ride.

Either post what you mean or don’t bother.

It’s always like you're saying to some bloke, ‘You don’t know half of what your lass gets up to’, but never actually saying what it is.

If you want to post that kind of stuff don’t you think you should start a thread instead of jumping on brilliant match threads that RTB spends hours getting right … and derailing them.

It’s like the posters who, throughout the season, have predicted Boro, Luton, West Brom, Sheff Utd, Millwall, etc would be promoted …

… then forget all that and remind people that they predicted Leeds and Burnley <laugh>

Isidor needs service he needs Le Fe to feed him down the channels as nobody else seems capable of playing him in.
Today I felt we are upping the pace and playing on the front foot maybe RLB is slowly cranking up the pace.
There was definately less sideways stuff.

Who should we play as our striker in the play offs..as it seems RLB not keen on playing Wilson and Mayenda together... For me, the form player is Mayenda, as harsh as that is on Wilson

The way I see it is that there are arguably only 4 of that starting 11 that would make the play offs / final. 4 players and we reduced Blackburn to one chance which albeit they scored from it was there only real chance. Now I’m fully aware that injuries can happen at any time but to have Cirkin, Mundle and Ballard possibly back in the next few weeks will be huge. I have absolutely no problem with how the club have prepared over the last few weeks with experimental line ups and easing players back in. To coin an RLB phrase we need the squad to be connected- so whoever is on the bench during the playoffs, they’ve had the time on the pitch to know how the others are playing and to contribute to the overall team and effort in whatever role or position they are asked to play whether that be Browne, Aleksic, Watson.

my only concern these last few weeks has been Wilson’s form. I know he hasn’t had particularly great service but that lad can turn a game in the blink of an eye and nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see him score the winning goal in the playoffs / final.

What we need now moving forward is for a fan base to be fully behind the team. They have given us a fantastic season, more than some us could have hoped for. Any criticism now whether that be on team selection , individual performances, misplaced passes etc is counter productive. Save it for when the final whistle blows, whether that be in victory or defeat. So let’s let’s cheer these lads on and show them how much we have appreciated their efforts this season
