I wonder what it would take for Man Utd to sell? We got Clarke. Wonder if we can get Amad too? Might not be the pipe dream it seems. I know they paid a big fee, but I doubt he is that close to their first team. Big sell on, or buy back, might get a deal done.

Just watched the highlights the view from behind Simms is fantastic. Looks like its in slow motion. Simms freezes for a moment as it slowly rolls in.
    Excellent first touch and finish.

It would be an unbelievable signing if we could get him permanently. I think he is out of reach but Speakman can have the freedom of the city if he can sign him permanently.

Hadn't realised that's the first time this season Blackburn have lost after taking the lead....poetic justice after their two goals at Ewood, isn't it a great time to be a lads fan, this could really end up being something special but I'm trying very hard to rein in my expectations.
Should know better at my age.

I think it is a pipe dream as unfortunate as that is. He's under contract until 2026 and he's capable of being a part of their squad already. Whilst he might not ever be a guaranteed starter for them, he could play for them against plenty of the bottom half prem and Europa League teams without looking out of place. Garnacho has had games for them this season as has Elanga. I'd say Amad is in that bracket at least.

They have nothing to lose by keeping hold of him for another 18 months at least and seeing how he develops.

Even if they were to sell, I wouldn't be shocked to see teams like West Ham, Bournemouth, Palace and even Newcastle being prepared to spend £15-20m on him.

Our only hope of keeping him is to be promoted and take him for another year on loan.

I think it is a big ask, but shy bairns get nowt as they say.

Our reputation now with so called big clubs is very good. I think Mowbray has just boosted it even more because of his reputation. The fact we have use of Carrington for a few days now is just another indicator of our relationship. I wouldnt fall of my chair if we got Amad, but it would be a major achievement. I was talking to someone who gets involved with player agents and club agents a few months ago. He said we act like a proper club now when doing deals. Very professional and prepared to give a bit to get what we want, like the Cirkin deal. I am probably just dreaming, but I think we are a club on a massive upward curve and before long we are going to see signings like this happening.

Hopefully our budgets increase next year with the additional income from this season and being ran properly. He must be on a fortune at utd given they paid over 30m for him so I'd imagine our max wage would need to be well above 20k (if it's true that we won't be paying that to Rossco that is)

I watched access all areas and ONien is some bloke. On the way in from the warm up told every maacot to enjoy it, massive grin on his face. I bet he is one of them blokes that does everything with a smile and loads of enthusiasm.
