How good is Ballard? That's a serious question, where does he rank amongst centre backs in world football? I've seen few this season I'd be willing to swap him for. If he was Daniele Ballardini he'd be off to Milan for £90m.

The way ballard answered that question was beautiful so calm and relaxed, weve got a massive chance of top 10 and even Europe this season imo. Bookmark this if ya wish

What are you on mate? I had £30 on top 10 at 33/1 and champions with a 50 point handicap, might be good for £1,300 total!

I dont like to instantly react. I can be a bit over excited.

I think Ballards performance tonight is as good as anything I have seen by a Sunderland player in maybe 15 years. It was just so good. Three huge moments, but take those out and he was the lynchpin that locked Mukiele and Geertruide together. He has produced a level I didnt think was possible 2 seasons ago. Take a bow son.

Whole team, class. Might get the malt out.

Went ahead against an 'invincible team' that 'never concedes'.

We've come back from losing to the team that'll win the title.

    We've made Arteta cry.

    The perfect hat trick <laugh>

Last year I got abuse for saying Ballard should start ahead of 09 by quite a few. Again after play off heroics some said he was not ready for premier league! Can we all agree he is hopefully going to be the backbone of the team for a very long team and captain in waiting after Xhaka. Big Dan is unbelievable at both ends of the pitch. What a club, what a team spirit, what a fan base, WE ALL deserve every success that follows..

Before the Everton game, I was thinking this side is at least the second best Sunderland side I've seen in my lifetime. I'm starting to change my mind. :)
