Mignolet was never worried? Dyer missed a relatively easy chance from 9 yards out and Bramble blocked Graham from around 6 yards right at the end. I think your keeper may have been a tad worried. Dear oh dear indeed.
Sorry, but I've just said we were poop and that you keep a hold of the ball well. Hence on the night playing better. Or does that not count towards saying we were out played?
You have scored 34 and we have scored 27. Like I've said you kept the ball well. What more do you want me to say?! It's hardly our fault if you couldn't do much with it.
Why did you never get going then. Was it because you couldnt get the ball and spent whole game chasing shadows. was wondering how many shots you actually had last night. Also, how many goals you have scored this season and how many our defensive style of play has managed. fancy that our defensive side has scored more than yours.
Did I say that you had a defensive mentality, or did I say that passing the ball around could be argued as being defensive? And I'm the numb nuts, potato etc.
Quote Your finishing didn't let you down because our defense didn't afford to you clear chances. Our excuse isn't an excuse, its an explanation we were a poop and never got going. "You keep the ball well mind, thats quite defensive when you think about it." and yes you are
Yes keeping the ball can be quite defensive akin to old Italian sides, but keeping the ball can be quite attacking eg Barcelona. Did I explicitly say Swansea kept the ball to prevent the other team from scoring?
Maybe they keep the ball in order to score as well, call me old fashioned but with out it, makes it very difficult to hit the net.
Laudrup turned up with understandable view that a point away from home is a good result in the Prem. If he'd have gone with a more attacking gameplan then no doubt we'd have come away with three points, but I don't think anyone could have forseen just how awful Sunderland were/are.
They're absolute pants and with no redeeming features ,"Mr Mon, I can't look you in the eye when I'm speaking" needs to spent more money just to get them from ****e to mediocrity .
Bingo! The logic was that it if the opposition don't have the ball then they can't score, hence being defensive.
TBF we've be ****e all season. You haven't beaten us, care to explain? For all you are having a great season you are only what, five points ahead (I think)?
Care to explain? I shall endeavor to do so. We were pretty raw at the start of the season with new players bedding in. Virtually half the team were new. Taylor was injured early on too. Yesterday was entirely different because we've improved as the players have got used to each other. The stats prove that. Played you off the park but tried to score the perfect goal at times. Credit to the home team for parking the bus every time we got forward and then not getting a single shot on target over 90 mins. How's that? As for the 5 point difference, well let's see how we end up.
our finishing has been our weakest point for a number of seasons but we always put in a good show against the big clubs but when we play the lesser clubs our finishing is not up to standard even though its clear as day that we are far better than these teams...we never go for the jugular and put these teams to bed because if we did we would have a lot more points on the board....it was 2 points dropped last night against a team that showed nothing....our fault in reality and must be looked at...I dont want to hear sir mike saying he is happy with a point...
We've been crap the majority of the season. You got off to a flying start. So you are the only club to get new player at the start of the season? Sounds like an excuse. Played off the park? For all the 'nice' football we were relatively comfortable of not losing. Are you not allowed to defend well? Or would you rather teams stood at the sidelines and allowed you to walk the ball in? You are almost suggesting that is was our fault we didn't let you score.
