It's my wedding anniversary today so taking the wife out........on Saturday. She's already asked if I've got anything lined up for this evening. She doesn't follow football so is not aware that the game is on the telly. Should I take her out tonight or tell her to crack on with the ironing as there is something far more important than the anniversary? Decisions decisions
It was mine on Sunday Farnboro. True gentleman that I am, I raised my pint of guinness to her while I was down the pub watching the footy with the lads
If you take her out tonight it can only be to a pub with the match on. She either joins in the cheering or sits in the corner and shuts the **** up. Her choice. Hope this helps
Thanks Pops. She's my 2nd wife and I kinda like her but I'll cogitate over your 'Dear Deidrie ' advice
Tell her the match is on, and so therefore you have got something lined up i.e. a few cold ones, the TV and a couch. Man up.
A19 n/bound at Dalton Park blocked after rtc - diversions in place, could be delays for much of the afternoon.
see that dragon toss pot from Swansea i wonder if everton will be delayed and we go on to smash their coach up? Oh, sorry, we are not West Ham, cnuts.
It's probably all the name changes mate, I've spoken to you before on here I'm certain of it. I don't entertain the supernatural though, so even if I was a 'mackem' I'd still have said the same thing without fear of 'jinxing' anything.
Thank god it was just you. The cricket team were late turning up - I wondered where they were If she sees this I'm dead
