Well done those with winners so far. Kings Grey came tanking along there again but didn't find a deal off the bridle. What about that Anay Turge staying on at the end of the race though? Will have gone into many a notebook. Very nice to see Cinevator grab 2nd at 50/1 even though I didn't have a cent on him. Was given a ridiculous mark by the handicapper on his handicap debut today was something more like. Could be one to keep on the right side of this winter.
Ruby away to Wexford for the one ride in the next. Interesting. I'll not burden him with my money though. It hasn't really been supported in the market though and I'm always slightly cautious of Mullins runners that aren't punted off the boards...
That Shrapnel looks a decent recruit. Won as he liked there. Could be an early marker for the Arkle, lots of water to flow under lots of bridges before then though.
Another Nicholls hotpot turned over - ouch. I was going to put up a thread about how I think he will struggle this season but you have to say his strike rate is currently among the best in the country.
need pat garrett in 4.10 in galway for a six horse accum....just to let everyone know so not to back it because my usual luck is all winners and 1 second...so it's due this one... here's to hoping it's not though!!
Did a 5 horse Accy on some shorties - first one lost (the King horse in the opener at Aintree) then the next 4 all won (Very Wood, Carriganog, Band Of Blood and Shrapnel) Better luck with yours
Don Cossack makes his chase debut tomorrow at Galway. Could be an above average chase recruit you would think!
