I think Mossey might only need to be 60% fit to win at Cheltenham. He's in a different league to Tammy's Hill who now looks his main competitor.

Edit: Connections not even bothering with Cheltenham for Tammy's Hill

Is Moyes not the problem? Last year they won the title easily. Now they are scraping about for minor places. What has happened?

Just caught up on todays racing- superb stuff.

Last Instalment- what a fantastic horse. If only he could stay fit- he is like Denman in style- jumps like a monster!

Vautour antepost backers will be happy and he was very good. However, I think he could be beaten at the Festival. That Tullow Tank reminds me of Don Cossack- he is a good novice hurdler but he is totally a chaser in the making and personally I think vulnerable to anything with speed, so I will look to take on Vautour on that basis (unless I see little threat from the opposition) come the festival opener. Smart though he is!

Toppy - you know I've liked Last Instalment for the last 3 years, can he win the Gold Cup? Serious performance today, jumped like a stag and has that bit of tactical speed (much more so than Sir Des Champs).

Very impressed by Vautour btw - the efficient manner in which he takes his hurdles is a beauty to behold (much like Kings Palace) - superb horse and bred to be an absolute superstar.

    I'm far from gutted :D

Forgive me if you have all talked about the Hennesey, but I've been out all day and just watched it back.
What a jumping performance from Last Installment, jumped them into submission from a long way out - and apparently they have left something to work on lol :)

Just hope he keeps his CGC appointment rather than the Ryanair

Isn't that the problem reebs -trying to second guess where these horses might line up. Only a few are guaranteed to be aimed at certain targets -nice to have a big price ante post slip -worse to have an expensive piece of paper.

Very true Rudy - I'm pleased that my piece of paper says 50-1, but won't be pleased if they run him in the Ryanair <laugh>

I'm pleased mine says 50/1 too Reebs. Not so pleased that it says Lyreen Legend on the docket though. Jumps well, travels well but no fooking gears when it matters <laugh>. Lovely AP voucher for you though. They must go for the GC with him after that. Been a pretty **** weekend for my 2 AP bets. Enough said about Lyreen Legend but not looking good for Champion Court in the Ryannair either as I suspect both Al Ferof and First Lieutenant will be heading that way now.

the only ap i have is Harry T in the GC--i would be surprised if he lined up this year tbh--but the ground conditions may turn his way if the jet stream stays where it is ! I see his price has come down to 20s--but i think i'll let it play out....The others i shall wait for the festival itself --ground issues could really play havoc with a lot of races....
