He was unlucky - didn't deserve that last post to be called bollox - much better post than last season despite not being very creative. Might be the same crap outcome, but its much better to watch
To be honest that isn't hard, last seasons team minus Ross we would be worse than Blackpool, now we are slightly better, we just need to hope we are better than another 2-3 other teams. I agree we are better squad wise than last season but how much better?
Hey Ristac, you're not going to believe this, but I agree with you! Fact is, last season we were woeful, had loads of expensive deadwood & were going nowhere. This season, we've got rid of most of the deadwood, and have brought in a shedload of players. Some will make it, some won't, but at least the new deadwood will be cheap, comparatively speaking, so we should be able to offload them easier. You can't bring in 15 players & expect them all to be world class. Biggest plus this season for me is that we now have hope for the future. Long way to go, but when was the last time we had hope? I can remember posts over the last number of years demanding that we stop bringing in expensive, end of career journeymen. Get some youth & take time to build a team was the loud call from far & near. Well, we got our wish, and now we're tearing that project to pieces. We're never happy. Instant success isn't even quick enough for some people on here. I personally feel we're on the right path, & though we may flirt with relegation, hope keeps this squad apart from the awful teams that have turned out for the last few years. MOT
