I'd be far more comfortable if an independent enquiry found them not guilty of unlawful killing ... wouldn't you?
Well, yeah, of course. I'd rather they just binned it all off, tbh. I've made my feelings clear about my blind support to the armed forces.
The relatives getting some closure is what is most important ... and why the enquiry is relevant ... they obviously haven't yet. You mean the IRA bombers who were locked up and then freed for wrong ful imprisonment or the ones that actually planted the bombs? ... no I'm not kidding ... anybody that targeted and injured civilians is still fair game in my book
But you have. You've jumped in with two feet, and your lack of knowledge about this is outstanding, considering it was you era.
... because people more knowledgeable than me about the events have concluded that there are sufficient grounds for a new enquiry (which I have interpreted as "there must be new facts / eviidence")... or have I missed something?
... and that's fair enough mate ... I'm different ... I'll always be in favour of getting the right result in the end ... no matter how long it takes ... and whatever that result is
... don't think so ... but if you have seen the details behind the new enuiry in advance of everyone else, please enlighten me... if not, as I suspect ... swivel
So if the new enquiry comes to the same conclusion as the previous ones will you be happy to have another in two years time?
