Well, here comes the first big pre- Gold Cup clash.

Flemenstar to jump them silly here. SDC to be slightly too relaxed over this trip and running on too late

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM FLEMENSTAR never in doubt <cracker>

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM DOUGLAS JULIAN 20/1 WINNER FOR SUE SMITH <cracker>

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM GEORGE NYMPTON <cracker>

Odddog firing in the winners <party>

Jailcase <cracker>

Sir Des Champs crying out for 3 miles, sets it up for the Lexus perfectly, thats when we will see how good Flemenstar really is, he only had to jump round today.

Brilliant jumping performance from Flemenstar, and a most promising reappearance from Sir Des Champs.

ROUND 1!

Great shouts TMOG & Oddy<applause>

Flemenstar said it before and i'll say it again. The best 20f horse in training imo<ok>

I'll be backing the 2 Sue Smith runners e/w today (12.25 Kelso - Swindy, 11/1 and 1.55 Kelso - Douglas Julian, 9/1) as she looks to be coming into form (2 winners and 2 second from 4 runners yesterday) and usually does well this time of the year.

Over at Warwick, George Nympton should go close in the 1.40 at around the 7/1 mark - he is a previous course winner and was aimed a little high behind Golden Chieftain last time. This is more his level. With the Twiston-Davies team in such fine form, I'm going to give Goat Castle (Warwick 3.10) one last chance to open his account.

E/W Lucky 15 on that little lot.

Done a €1 E/W Lucky 15 and with George Nympton scoring at 3/1 and Douglas Julian at 20/1 I am guaranteed €123,60 returns.

Goat Castle is currently 11/2 and if that ****er wins I'm looking at a payout of €871,36 <yikes>

And I've got to go out now <yikes>

Brilliant jumping performance from Flemenstar, and a most promising reappearance from Sir Des Champs.

ROUND 1!

Put the race to bed with that lethal acceleration again Toppy. Any reason he can't lob along for 2m6f and do the same? <whistle>

Best price 7/1 on Flemenstar for the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Ladbrokes have him 4/1 joint fav with Bobs Worth and Sir Des Champs out to 7/1 with them.
