Not a bad card over at the Curragh gents but not an awful lot to choose between the AOB trio and Buratino has had a hard season. Can see why there's a mention for the outsider. Air Force Blue looks my idea of the most likely winner but can't be confident enough to be playing at the price.

I thought Fort Del Oro shaped with no end of promise in his two maidens, eyecatching on debut before cosily winning on 2nd start and I quite like a 7/1 price about him upsetting the apple cart a bit in the Group 3 event at 4.20 <ok>

Afternoon cowboys.Decent looking card at the kura but wont be having any bets today. My only bet will be Arsenal minus 2 v West Ham at 2s.The hammers have been very poor in pre season whereas Arsenal have been in great form and can see us giving them an absolute spanking today.
Arsenal already behind and unfortunately they will never get near winning the league again with Wenger in charge. They'll do what they always do. Blitz the last 2 months of the season and get 3rd or 4th place.

Oh dear what was Petr Cech up to there.Arsenal will do well to scrape a win now.Agreed Fusion, Wenger needs to step upstairs and let a new man take charge. We are crying out for a striker so still hoping we can bag Benzamen.

A mate of mine is Tottenham born and bred but before the season kicked off, he reluctantly tipped the Gooners for the title. I have to disagree with him because Arsenal do not have a 25/30 goal a year striker and soon as a couple of their best players pick up injuries, it will all go pear-shaped.

I bet he is cheering in his holiday villa at the half-time score. Same old Arsenal – totally dominate the possession but no goals...

Nice shout STH. One to be watching for in the two-year-old staying fillies’ races later in the season.

I actually didn't back it QM, just pointed it out incase anyone was interested. Won well though, was still green enough and being with Aidan will more likely have loads of improvement to come.

Well I called that one horribly wrong!Next game is away to inform Crystal Palace.Worrying times for Arsenal fans already!

I reckon that was an across the card double that nobody put a penny on: Muhaarar (Deauville 3:10) and Lord Kelvin (Windsor 3:15) for Charlie Hills.

Their team is on the verge of being genuinely exciting but they need 2 possibly 3 proper leaders/stars to come in to make the final step.

I just don't see who their leader is. Mertersacker is awful and his lack of pace not suited to the Premier league, whilst they just don't seem to be able to control the tempo and steady the ship in centre midfield when needed. Once the tippy tap met the banks of 4 they looked clueless again as to how to get in behind West Ham.

Giroud is a bit one-paced so for me they are probably needing a top striker (Benzema/Cavani), holding midfielder (Pogba) and top class centre half away from truly challenging.
Reckon Wenger will go for one of those players?

Eh, Eh, calm down, calm down... Liverpool and Man City have not played yet and there are still 37 games to go to avoid the drop. The Gooners should still finish above the Scousers whatever else happens and judged on yesterday they will probably be above jammy Man United too.

Wenger has to buy Benzema – money is not the problem. The rumour mill had him in London today...

I wish I had looked at the Hoppegarten card – I might have noticed that Luca Cumani had sneaked Second Step over there to collect a Group 1 race (Grosser Preis Von Berlin), beating the German Derby winner Nutan. That tells me that the German horses are nothing to shout about this year because I backed Second Step at Newmarket when he was beaten by subsequent Goodwood Cup winner Big Orange in a Group 2.
