Solwhit maybe crept into a bit early but the winner was well on top by the end. Got an absolute peach of a ride too, allowed to dominate then got a breather to fill the lungs down the back on the second circuit where he was headed and looked beat before getting back on top and kicking clear at the end. On prices the best British horse and the best French horse were the first two home and it looks like, this time, the French had the better horse on the day. No hard luck stories or bad rides imho.

"On prices the best British horse and the best French horse were the first two home" -was the second home ridden by a British jockey as well ! ;)

Not my day, what a shocking decision by the umpire. Plum LBW and goes for four. Umpire decides it's hit his bat <doh>

Please be out? He's gone for the run out at one end, missed and hit the other. Please.....

Need to get this through to Malinga's over. He's bowling out of his skin.

He opened at 3/1 as well. Couple of reasons why I think. Different hurdles to UK and Ireland and that nosebleed LTO. He's definitely the best horse in the race but he needs to put it all in.

Yes, it was 5/4, BT got that right, but..........So damn difficult to win the really big jump races in France, as you alluded to BB.

If that's true form why on Earth is that horse not running in England?

With their prize money, doesn't have to Bob....................

(Erm, what a razzle dazzle name the winning trainer has too..........J. Bertran de Balanda :emoticon-0100-smile).
