Oddy Flemenstar's owner seems like a right bell end.First he takes the beast off Peter 'Sexy Time' Casey and then from Tony 'Gangsta' Martin only to be trained by his son!If Martin couldn't improve the horse I cant for the life of me see how his son can, does he even have a training background?I hope I'm wrong but I think Flenenstar's chances of winning some decent races are slim to none.

I reckon you're spot on Ste, does seem awfully far-fetched to think he can win but I've managed to snaffle a bit of 25s e/w so why not. I would love to see him back to his best and who knows, maybe he didn't like all that company in Tony Martin's yard?

I've taken the 9's available on Archive in the Grade 3 Novice hurdle tomorrow at Navan. After seeing Disko's exploits today he has to be respected and is overpriced on the fact Eoin Griffin trains him. If Mullins trained Archive, he would be 5/2 here. Tycoon Prince looked classy and didn't break sweat on his comeback at Punchy but perhaps Archive can pick up the pieces should things not go to plan.

I also like Minella Online at 5/1 for Rebecca Curtis in the Ffos Las 3:50. He was well supported on his seasonal reappearance and they finally looked to have solved his niggly issues which seen him pulled up in 5 consecutive races, he ran a creditable 2nd that day beaten 4.5 lengths and I'd imagine the run will have crowned him. A bit more give in the ground this time around too which should aid the cause.

Three today, all at Sandown...

Slim Pickens - ran well at Cheltenham and will be better for that. I think the Nicholls favourite could be the one to beat but I think this is an open race and SP can win. 10s

Sirabad- runs against Golden Doyen and I can't have GD at Sandown as he didn't impress me with his jumping on debut. The fact Nicholls runs this one at Sandown suggests that he has schooled well.

Roalco De Farge - another from Cheltenham that can improve to land a race. In veteran company now, and that can help him find a victory.

What's the weather like in the mighty Britain lads? Gale force winds and lashing rain in Ireland so expect the going to be tough if your considering a bet.

Kitten Rock was beaten less than 10 lengths when 6th in last season's Champion Hurdle, makes his chasing debut in the 3.25 at Navan and really should win providing he gets round. But Rogue Trader was 2nd in a handicap hurdle at Punchestown, won 3 out of 4 races last season and is a good each way bet at 12/1.

Navan:Artic Fox,Kitten Rock & Robin Thyme treble pays roughly 4/1
Limerick 3.05-Letter of Credit 7/2-Reverts back to hurdles 24lbs better off, must go close
Man City -1 & Wilfred 'Small Arms' Bony to score anytime v Aston Villa 3/1

14:45 Auteuil - Shannon Rock

(Won this race in 2013. Will stay with trainer/jockey combination after yesterday's narrow defeat in the big hurdle race over there).

Dissapointing run there Don,I wouldn't tear up your ante post bet just yet but that certainly wasn't good enough to suggest he can challenge for the AB
