I had the Mullins horse each way in that after winning a bit earlier on. Shouldn't bother with Irish racing ATM. They're all trying to get handicap marks for Galway.
Not one horse from the Dante has finished in the frame in races since. Some have been beaten twenty lengths plus. For BONFIRE to be touted as a Derby or Eclipse horse is quite frankly laughable. Facts that I stated before both races so not a case of after the event. The form is shocking and I agree with Quel that this generation is sub standard. I implore you all to stop throwing good money after bad on Bonfire. RV. Revisit the rule book. Do not bet serious money on amateur races or conditionals or ladies races. Plus, and most importantly, get studying the form. You know you are good at it and you know it's the only way. Get back on track and rebuild that bank. We all have peaks and troughs and we can usually put the troughs down to poor decision making. Well done on your tennis bet!
You need a staking plan, if you don't mind me saying so. Then even if you go on tilt, you limit the damage.
Ektihaam, beaten 11L at Chantilly Fencing, beaten 26L at Ascot Dream Tune, beaten 16L in a Sandown maiden Ptolemaic, beaten 2.3/4L at Ascot Mandaen & Ernest Hemingway not seen since. Thats enough eveidence for me Hawkeye
Stick T in the Park on the telly RV. Elbow are on. I defy anyone not to have a warm fuzzy feeling watching Guy at work.
Anyone agree Camelot will run in and win the Leger then never be seen again? He'll have to up his game 20% to beat the best of the older horses. This years 3 year olds are terrible. Certainly the worst I can remember.
If he wins the Leger then he will be retired as his stud value for the Triple Crown would be astronomical. Why would you then risk his reputation by taking on the older generation at Longchamp. Lets face it, he's no Sea The Stars is he!
After telling RV not to bet in "tosser jockey" races I find myself fancying a horse in the first at Windsor!
