Im a huge fan of De Gea and he has proved this season how good he is and the potential he has. Im shocked he isnt in the Spain squad regularly though, you would think they would be nurturing him in rather than sticking with Reina/Valdez as the backups. Rafael has come on leaps and bounds this season but Fabio just doesnt seem to have the same potential. The centre midfield worries me, carrick has been outstanding this season but we need a strong box to box midfielder(Fletcher is finished now i reckon) M'Vila for me would have been perfect but hes away ruining his career in Russia.
I can't be having that Stick, Joe Hart is heavily overrated because he's English. I can think of atleast 5 games were hes made glaring mistakes this season, for England and for City. Take a look at the opta stats aswell De Gea is a class above Hoe Hart, despite what the media try and make you believe
De Gea v Hart. Both talented young keepers who will make mistakes. I don't know who's better. i prefer De Gea because i'm biased. if Hart was in our team i'd be happy as well. It's a totally different proposition playing in goal for a top team. Do nothing for 30 mins then be called into action isn't a typical keepers Saturday afternoon. Hardest position on the pitch.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/ho...not-going-to-win-the-2013-Grand-National.html Does this article help or hinder (or neither)the stance of those involved in racing that the sport isn't cruel? I was a little taken aback to be honest.
I think the comparison with Muamba is very valid Bob - most of the ignorant brigade think that horse only die when they fall trying to jump a fence. Look at what happened to Go Native for example. I think McCoy is trying to raise awareness that a horse can break down in many different situations, not just when falling in the National. Regarding Colbert Station, I suppose it begs the question as to why he didn't pull him up? Difficult call to make - plenty of money riding on him in the biggest race of the year, he's got to keep going really and hope the horse gets into a better rhythm.
They are both very talented but imo Courtois is potentially better. His team have the best defensive record in the division and kept another clean sheet tonight despite finishing with 9 men away from home. Interesting to see how they all progress.
Is this bloke the coolest mutha ever?
I don't think the odds compilers are all that knowledgable on American sport Bob, a friend of mine watches alot of American football, it's his favourite sport, and he used to say the same thing. Well done on the winner anyways, might have to keep an eye out for your basketball tips
