1.05 Orchard Boy - 10/1

Bare with me! Outsider of the field, 8yo on first chase run and the top two in market are last time out winners for Nicholls and Henderson!

However this horse is obviously talented and I think he will be a really nice handicap chaser for the Webber team. He runs here off 125 which to me looks fair with his hurdles efforts behind Kilgeel Hill and Young Dillon.

Now I think he is a proper chaser in the making and a switch to fences is a massive positive. Will he be ready? Well they've gone for the cheekpieces for the first time which suggests that today is the day for him.

More Bucks isn't a Nicholls leading light whilst I don't really like Sugar Baron, who might struggle over the railway fences.

I think you mean "bear with me" old boy. Unless of course you are inviting the whole forum to get naked with you! Barney will be spitting out his porridge at Chuckle Towers if he reads such poor grammar on a Sunday morning. "Wouldn't happen in the Guardian you know".

I was expecting Lettheriverrundry to appear in a novice handicap chase off a lowly mark of 122 but they have gone straight into a novice chase. He looked a chaser in the making and given he won first time out and then should won bar a blunder last season first out i think today is the day to be on. 8/1 in a 4 runner field.

Braavos at 3.75 in the 12:30 at Sandown
Furiously Fast at 3.00 in the 12:50 at Ffos Las
Azzerti at 3.25 in the 13:40 at Sandown
Christmas In April at 2.38 in the 13:55 at Ffos Las

Non runner <doh> keep an eye out for his next run

The Cork National is the race of the day for me. Some very interesting runners (and trainers). I'll be punting these two @ BSP.

Cork 3.15
Akorakor (1 win)
Rogue Angel (4 win, 5 place)

Some nice types in it Barley but it appears a nightmare to decipher. Stuck between 4 and I would still possibly be wrong <laugh> watching brief for me only. A lot of tight tricky affairs today really, whoever finds the winners deserves a pat on the back for sure.

Good luck with yours.

2:45 Auteuil - Storm Of Saintly

(Ignoring run LTO when PU, has a good chance on previous form).

Get your arse of that fence STH <laugh>. I would have thought after your historic win against the ABs yesterday you Irish would think nothing of solving a marathon plodders handicap. Forever Gold will be my punt but I'd love to see Federici prevail for his Shropshire owner. Good luck anyone investing today.

Very sad to here that Avant Tout was fatally injured. He was one with a good future ahead of him.<peacedove>
Just come a back from a good day out with the family am completely gutted about This news , loved this horse and fancied him to have a huge year (as posted in the Cheltenham ante post post) very sad indeed another potential star we have lost RIP <peacedove>

Shocking news on Vautour ......................... a dreadful loss for connections and also for the sport. In an ironic way I guess part of why we love these great horses is because they are, ultimately, so vulnerable.

RIP <rose>

Wow! When it rains it really pours. Willie after losing the Gigginstown lot now lost arguably his leading light from the stable and Avant Tout as well. Such sad news, a good horse and a super horse taken far too early. RIP.
