    First of all- what a cracking day today well done to Plumpton for getting the horses of that quality in the card. I was impressed by the French horse Howver bookies have over reacted slightly he was getting 5lbs from the second and wasn’t exactly on the bridle across the line! Nice to see some of the big faces there today and hopefully this of things to come! But had a great day and enjoyed backing a few favs <laugh>

    If you simply back favs gaz you will soon be out of pocket. You still have to pick out the winners. 8.5/1 treble on those 3 was probably less risk than any 8/1 chance I could pick. On the other hand if I picked 3 favs any other day I'd be lucky if 1 of them won <laugh>

    I have 16/1. The next step looks like it's going to be the Scilly Isles Chase.

    16s is a lovely bet. 6s (and 3s nrnb) is skinny enough imo 2 months ahead of the festival.

    Totally agree. 6 is horrible, 3 is crap. The horse seems very good but we will see on the hill although it doesn't seem that the JLT is going to be a race of the most complicated.
