I like Jonbon very much, but the hustle-and-bustle of the Cheltenham Festival races, I just dunno. Just have to hope that he can handle it all! Irish runners just seem to thrive on the atmosphere, apart from having the best horses, as at the last Festival, of course!
Folly to oppose Pink In The Park in the Leopardstown bumper but I'll also be keeping an eye on Altior's half-sister Bellatior - she won nicely on debut and the form looks pretty decent.
There we go again Oddy. 27 runner fiercely competitive handicap...Elliott or Mullins still come up trumps.
I just love Davy Russell too - he is such a brilliant jockey. Nip and tuck between him and Townend for leading jockey at the festival I reckon - even though Elliott goes mob handed in the handicaps and it could be Davy, or Jack Kennedy, or someone else on the best handicapped horse.
Fiercely battled bumper that was. 4 or 5 almost in a line and the 40/1 Munir runner wins by a shd. Nice to see a non Mullins/Elliott winner.
