Grand National choice ran a pretty good race yesterday, but unfortunately came to grief at the 21st fence second time round, after a bad blunder, and that was that. :(

So, will have a modest go today and hope the horse runs a decent race! Here goes:

16:40 Ffos Las - Fils De Roi e/w

Class-4 Handicap Hurdle over 2m4f on good-to-soft ground.

Although carrying top weight this Saint Des Saints gelding has a bright chance to gain a podium finish. Returns from a 133-day break, but certain to be produced fit and well and ready to go by the very experienced stable. Should be suited by distance and current track conditions. Jonathan Burke rides for the Fergal O'Brien yard.

Rubbish selection. Horse should have stayed in the stable, seemed to have no interest in the race at all. :(

<laugh> Afraid so, Ron, am putting a curse on all mine of late, so will try to take a breather, as it now appears to be very necessary. :(
