He is a nice guy but is out of his depth against the real top notchers.Only two G1's in his career,both on bottomless ground and the first was awful to watch the way he abused his mount.Needless to say it never won again.

Whilst I dont disagree with the point you've made Dex is it not more likely that Wotton Basset just didn't train on?
 
True George,he didn't have much scope.
