I'm usually wary when Patrick Mullins is bullish about one, especially speaking about there bumper string, must be like picking your favourite child from a large family.

Are we likely to see Honeysuckle end up in the Mares hurdle now I wonder? They've no hope of beating CH in the Champion Hurdle I don't think, final race - win the mares and bow out.

I guess she'll get an entry for both and decide on the Sunday. Shouldn't be scared of 1 horse though tbh.

Absolutely not but you know how it is nowadays. I imagine CH is after scaring most of the real opposition so he'll likely wind up against some Mullins runners and a few who want the day out.

Yeah although I'm sure State Man will run and, after today Teahupoo. Epatante and Pied Piper too. We've also yet to see Vauban.

I know this is very fancy talk, but I'd love them to try and emulate Dawn Run with Constitution Hill. 2023 Champion Hurdle, 2024 Arkle, 2025 Gold Cup. Buckley is a very sporting type so, if the opportunities arose, I'm sure he'd have a crack - even though it seems almost unthinkable these days.

I'm sure those thoughts come across there minds too and get spoken about. Would be great to see it. Looks to have the ability to attempt it.

Vauban be out over Christmas? Haven't saw any news on him.

Not seen anything either - but I think they started him out over Christmas last season (the Knight Frank? Need to check, my memory isn’t what it was <laugh>)
