Champagne beaten by Nina, apologies if anyone was on, I know a few punters who lost a large wad on that.Hasn't been a good weekend but onwards and upwards as they say.

Lovely winner there for Noel Meade in the bumper, what a season he looks like having. Surely as strong a lot he's had since the legendary Harchibald days. Let's not forget also that this winner was thrashed by the beast that is INVITATION ONLY as well... <whistle> The Wexford bumper winner looked quality too.

Things cranking up a bit now boys, some lovely sorts out at Galway tomorrow (for a Monday at Galway anyway lol).

He is- soft ground at Newbury would suit him a treat I should think.

I'd look at Hennessey if I owned More Of That but I guess he is pretty ground-dependent.

We should know better than to oppose the Nina/Noel partnership. I needed yours for a treble but told the other half just before the race what might happen!

If Smad Place were to run in the Hennessy then Seeyouatmidnight would carry 10-07 by my reckoning - lovely racing weight. If it comes up soft or heavy he would have a real chance. His accurate jumping would be a great asset in a Hennessy <ok>

Gents anyone accustomed to an NFL accumulator?

I've put one on and the early game has finished a draw. On 'moneyline' accumulators you can only choose a winner- a tie is not an option.

Am I right in saying that this voids that game and the accumulator runs onto the other matches (at the reduced odds)?

I'm still wondering why a heinz only has 5 selections ;)
    Surely the Canadians would object?

Would have been a very nice day at the office if the final runner placed but came out with some profit.

FFS. I'm not with it. I was basing that on a Heinz bet and didn't notice there was a horse missing <doh>. Sorry Toppy

Decent performance by Chelsea against Southampton. Defence outstanding. Wish that new trainer, Conte, would calm down a bit; seems to be joining the jackass squad with the likes of Guardiola?

Yes, I guess so, Oddy, the word is sometimes abused though IMHO. Guess it must be my dour Anglo/Saxon, Viking, Celt mixed-up bloodlines? :) Hmm, should be something there though from my Mum's side, she was a real little Celt!
