Heavy ground got everything but the winner - flattered by the win again seen what happens when it faces a decent horse

Bit harsh RV - that was his first run over fences behind Bog Warrior, every chance he has improved significantly since then

    Flemenstar wins easily...as expected.

I've stuck him up here every time he has run this season.Loves deep ground and what a jumper he is.Must be 17 hands+...Shame he is such a bad traveller and won't run over here.

Agree Oddy...he is the real deal..no fluke about that.

He didn't have much to beat today but could only win.

I disagree Odddy all we have to do is look at the 2nd horse - Blackstair and Notus had it well held last time out - they didn't fire at all in the ground. I thought Blackstair would handle it but he was in trouble with 1m to go. Lambro gave Flemenstar a race last time out and he is nowhere near classy enough to win the best races. Flemenstar is a heavy ground bully - just my personal opinion

It is fair to say the conditions suited the winner more and it was not the strongest Arkle. But take nothing away from that performance, a demolition job. <apoplause> all who were on.

"Isn't it ****ing great. I'm going to have sex tonight" Veteran trainer Peter Casey to Tracy on RTÉ after Flemenstar gives him his first G1.

    Classic comment.

Impressive but hard to know what to make of it given ground conditions.

Lovely win by Flemenstar there, Blackstairmountain was very disappointing though never handled the ground. Really looking forward to the long awaited return of the fly today, the horse is an absolute superstar.

Any opinions on the next at Ffos Las, reading through the cards last night I liked the look of Benheir but it seems to be on the drift

He has beaten gift of d'gab by 19 lengths and everyone on twitter creaming themselves. Invictus beat the same horse as easily as he liked in ground more reliable. That was a farce of a race and 1m from home it was obvious the winner was the only thing handling conditions. Good horse no doubt but I love the "he doesn't travel" excuse is out already. More like he is a heavy ground bully who will get put in his place by a decent horse

Flemenstar has plenty of form in the book.

Extrapolating his performance in beating Nearest The Pin could give one grounds for stating that he would have beaten SDC by 20 odd lengths.

    Double Double has been disqualified
DOUBLE DOUBLE, who finished second behind Burn And Turn, has been disqualified as Andrew McNamara failed to weigh-in. That mean's Hawk Flight gets promoted to second and Tennis Cap to third.

as ive been ****e lately i did my roll up and L15 EW with Paddy Power, will they still pay on this with there "1st past postrule"

I think they already said after his last victory he won't travel RV. Also Gift Of Dgab was bought down at the 4th behind Blackstairmountain and NDLT - how can you say he was "well held"?

was well last at the time lol. Plus I think its laughable we are even using that dog as a form line. Flemenstar was impressive today but the overreaction is stupid considering nothing was going 1m from home and the 2nd horse has been beaten as easily off other horses

    Ground gets worse
The ground is now HEAVY after the running of the second race. We've gone from yielding to soft, to soft, to soft to heavy, to heavy in a couple of hours. And it's STILL raining.
