Homecoming Queen 6/4 now. How do you guys view that price?

I still really liked the way La Collina ran on in the 1000 at Newmarket and to correct my earlier post, she beat Power (not Maybe), which is now very good form.

Well, I've been sticking to top class racing and even that has formbook with bigger holes in it than the Grand Canyon.

    Astonishing.

with the withdrawals in the bumper I'm getting more and more interested in Unex Valadon.

The form of it's last bumper is working out very well and experience may prove key today. 5/1 seems like a good each way bet.

Just watching the replays and I must say I was VERY impressed by Speaking Of Which in the Gallinule Stakes - travelled beautifully and when Pat Smullen said go the acceleration he showed was scintillating. No idea where he might go next but seriously impressive performance today.

It appears that the form of that Newmarket Guineas weekend will prove to be worthless as form on very soft ground so often does. We had to suspect it as Homecoming Queen's win was so out of the ordinairy and now after being beaten by what will probably be a very ordinairy horse coupled with Power's turn around yesterday i think its fair to say that it was one of those odd meetings completely shaped by extreme conditions and should be omitted from any future form study unless those conditions are replicated.

I feel that Camalot will most likely win the Derby but am more inclined to have a go at taking him on now.
