Very nice card at Plumpton, starting off with a decent looking novice hurdle. John Ferguson's Mountain Fighter will be a warm order to follow up his stirring Fakenham victory, where he showed a tremendous attitude to just fend off All Together with the rest a mile back. In the 2.30, Sailors Warn is out again off 122, the same mark as his close-up 4th at Sedgefield alast time out. This looks a better contest and unfortunately just 7 runner so no 3rd place payout for e/w punters. In the juvenile hurdle Ferguson's Hadfield will be attempting to defy the penalty and may have most to fear from Alan King's horse Paddy's Runner.

Has to give lot of weight to Guitar Pete, but I think Jessica's horse can and will. My best bet of the week.

400 listen and learn way to big at 8s only a couple of lengths of the favourite when they met and today sees a massive weight swing , pilley also looks like a very good up and coming claimer so definitely has ew shout and should really be taking this.

2:00 Plumpton - Magna Cartor e/w

(Had a little bit e/w with PP at 20/1 on this one. Am ignoring first run over hurdles LTO when he stumbled at the first, saddle slipped, and rider fell off. S/P was 7/2 so was mildly fancied? Previous bumper form not bad. Hopefully will do a bit better this time).
