kempton,3 50: another very open race, but SNAPDRAGON FIRE has a very unexposed profile, and now goes chasing off a similar mark to his hurdling one.stable is also in cracking form now,so a good run expected.
cork,4 15: a fascinating beginners chase, with a few highly-regarded ex-hurdlers.SALTY BOY did me a good few favours in handicap hurdles last season, and if showing the same aptitude for fences today, has a leading chance here!
Not an easy task at the weights today but I think Grand Sancy could turn out to be a good notch above these this season. Early days of course but I think he could be another one of those hurdlers who Nicholls just keeps getting more out of (like Irving).
Silver Steak totally underrated as usual. Pissed it. Glad to see Grand Sancy get up from his last flight fall. The Durham slog was a good race. Kingswell Theatre ran a nice race off the front but got just tired in the soft ground late on.
cork,4 50: i think, the ultra-consistent LAKEMILAN has a very decent chance on these terms.she doesnt know, how to run a bad race, and especially her recent second to davids charm is very strong form.is still fairly treated,so deffo shout here.
At Kempton in the upcoming race Net De Treve is the interesting one for me. Goes well fresh and stable beginning to hit Form.Conditions to suit.
At Sedgefield in the upcoming bumper I like the presence of Very Patient. Stable usually a force in these races at northern tracks. Recently trainer a bit on the cold list but I think Very Patient could develop into a good one and take some each-way money at least today
For the finale at Kempton I wouldn't be surprised if Sha An Sha causes an upset. Trainer was 24 times among the first 3 from 42 runs with his hurdlers this season so far. This horse seems to have plenty of scope for progress this season.
