Unlike Moore who gave a Mr Haggas horse a shoccking rode yesterday
 
Obviously we read the race differently. Didn't look like he was "always holding" to me, but the horse kept finding anyway. I also thought he judged the pace wrong and got into it with Table Mountain too early.

Incidentally, it is possible to ride a strong finish without resorting to the whip.
 
If he got the pace wrong he would have lost that race simple as that <ok>

Find me where I said it isn't possible to ride a strong finish without the whip ?. I said he was hands and heels to the line because he was always holding.

Didn't look like he was "always holding" to me, but the horse kept finding anyway <laugh> <laugh> (CONFUSED FACE) yes because he was doing what he had to whilst being looked after by his jockey.

All about opinions, and i respect yours, agree to differ and move on Archers Road.
 
In the last at Ripon, CHOCOMOCCA 25/1 is 1lb better off than his last winning mark, of the stables three original entries this is the only one that remains add to this the stable are renound for decent price winners and i think he is well worth an EW punt and should be involved off this mark.
 
Fighting celt your a moron, Frankel runs slower times than most maidens over here, I never realized that till today, I thought he would beat her at a mile because she isn't trained to run it but I reckon she would give him windburn if that's as fast as he can run, **** me I'm shocked his a myth another I've exaggerated pommie horse&#65279;

RV - any challengers to F&G for the Gold Cup? Is Rite Of Passage still around?
 
Black Caviar is superb but they have no idea what they are dealing with in Frankel. He doesnt look as smooth on the eye as Black Caviar but they dont understand how fast he must be going to bound away from Excelebration, a nailed on Group1 miler, Canford Cliffs another, and so on, so forth.

I hope we get a race over a mile. Black Caviar will stay a mile easily on all known evidence, she barely has a race over 6f because she just canters past and she never looks tired.


We'll see how she handles our steeper tracks.

Anyone else think he could win the Queen Anne and Prince Of Wales? The former being a pipe opener for the latter?

I don't think he did much more yesterday than he did last week in that Newmarket gallop
 
Odddy I think F&G will win it again - looked great today and did the job well. I think Right Of Passage is still in training but must have had problems. Saddlers Rock and Colours Vision are potential improvers. Was so impressed with Colour Vision when he beat Red Cadeaux earlier this month. Would also love to see Al Kazeem in the cup races but seems he will have a campaign at 1m4f.

Looking like F&G can mop up in the stayers division ......................... I just think Masked Marvel will be better at a longer trip. He was awesome in the St Leger but his 2 runs since have demonstrated that 12F is way too short for him. Hopefully connections will step him back up in trip and maybe go for the GC?
 
Think the Arcs ruined Masked Marvel mate. Hope to be proven wrong as he is a smashing horse. Hopefully come back to form upped in trip like you say <ok>. Would like to see him in the GC but running out of time for a prep ? unless he goes on the back of a poor outing.
 
What's the name of the Godolphin horse who was fav for the long distance race at the Meydan festival? The race got stopped when a horse broke down in the home straight .................. I think the Godolphin horse won the re-run
