Heavily penalised for C&D win however can . Good course form with another second and a fourth. Should go well back on right handed track if last run can be forgiven at Sedgefield

Seriously well handicapped on old form - has one of a mark 24lbs higher in the past. Recent runs have shown signs of some improvement and seems to perform better on right handed tracks.

Seems to have some respite from the handicapper. Rarely runs a bad race. Interesting Denis O'Regan is riding him, and might have a chance of of getting the trip with a patient ride - has mostly raced over the minimum trip for both it's hurdles and chases

Tough Talkin Man @ 15/2 (GP)

Seems to relish the minimum trip (2 Miles) on good ground. Has an excellent chance of following up off only 4lbs higher than it's last win, which
was done a shade cosily

Trip and Ground to suit. Handicap mark has dropped slightly despite some decent efforts and should make the frame in this. 7 lb claimer riding him has had some good winners recently

Resolute Bay @ 15/2 (GP)

Game horse who when in a winning position has shown good fighting qualities, and who loves summer ground, and for that reason would ignore a lot of it's recent runs (albeit it performed OK LTO). Probably Davie Russell's best chance of a winner today and is fairly handicapped despite having to carry top weight.
 
AROUND A POUND 3.00 M RAS 4-1 11 lb hike in the weights for a 13 length win here last time. That seems fair enough to me. The runner up Worth A King's franked the form nicely yesterday so I think this one has a good chance of still being in front of the handicapper.

THAT'LL DO 3.20 Strat 9-2 I really cant fathom why the handicapper dropped this horse 8lb for falling behind Hunt Ball at the Festival. He had already won off 132 which is where he is today. Won very cosily last time and very much off a handy mark to triumph again.
 
Stratford 3.20 Buck Mulligan 12/1 Bet 365
Morning all, a competitive handicap at Stratford today attracts my attention with the entry of Buck Mulligan. Very consistent type, travels up with the pace and jumps well. I've been waiting for this fellow to reappear following some decent efforts last Autumn. His 2nd place lto at Cheltenham may well have been better but for a couple of uncharecteristic dodgy jumps. I don't think the break will be an issue and have noted that he's had numerous entries recently and not taken them up. So assuming he lines up today I reckon 12/1 is a great ew bet.

Willie Mullins sends a big team over to Auteuil today with Thousand Stars, Mourad, Zaidpour, Quel Esprit and Mikael D'Haguenet all going in the Gras Savoye Hipcover Prix La Barka Group 2 Hurdle at 2.55 (together with Paul Nicholls' Five Dream) and later in the card Darroun, Loch Ard and Gogreous Sixty in the 4YO hurdle at 4.55. Can't find prize money details on the former race, but the latter, a Grade 3, pays: Winner &#8364;60750 2nd &#8364;29700 3rd &#8364;17550 4th &#8364;12150 5th &#8364;6750 6th &#8364;4726 7th &#8364;3374. Definitely a pot worth going for <ok>

Arc winner Danedream makes her seasonal reappearance at Baden Baden (3.45) and should have little trouble dispatching her 9 rivals in the Group 2 contest.

One I'll throw up at Stratford is Madame Jasmine in the 3.50. Sue Smith's mare has struck up a good partnership with excellent claimer Gavin Sheehan, winning off 95 at Plumpton (3m 1f) before just failing to follow up off 106 over an inadequate 2m5f. Today she is stepped back up to 3m3f and the sharp left-handed track at Stratford should suit her well, given she has won twice at Plumpton. She is running off a career-high mark of 109 but the jockey's 7lbs allowance will help, particularly over the longer trip, and at around the 7/1 mark she looks a decent proposition.
 
Guys, just heard on the qt that DANDERRY 3.50 Stratford 14-1 is fancied by the yard.
Hasn't won for a good while but this yard know how to get one ready for a punt!
 
O'Briens 2yo in the first today is supposed to be very decent - will be backing him @ 7/4

Fame And Glory a great bet at 10/11 to beat the overhyped Unaccompanied

That'll Do well handicapped 3.20 Stratford 9/2

Krypton Factor 12.50 Kranji - Developed in to a high class sprinter - fully expect him to be in the places behind Black Caviar at Ascot.

Zaidpour 2.55 Auteuil (NAP) cracking price at 7/2 - still believe he is high class and over 2m5f today we will see a better horse.

Some decent action today.

RV,be interesting to see the AO'B juvenile goes,they ahve tended to need a run,maybe the wet spring has held them back.

In the same race Horizon Sky also runs.Does anyone know if he is Duke of Marmalades first offspring to hit the track?..can't think of anyothers off hand.

Dex he has had two mate- none with O'Brien though - a runner at Ripon trained by Tom Tate last of 9 - and a Hannon horse finished 5th of 6 on Friday LOL

Wembley was brilliant yesterday apart from the result, a big fight kicking off 4 rows in front of me and the family between West Ham fans hooligans and their Blackpool counterparts and some idiot Pool fan who looked like he was off his tits on drugs who tried to start a fight with me and my brother in the ground.

Blackpool should have put their chances away. They'd have won with ease. It was a long drive back up north.

Also never heard as many people dropping C bombs and F bombs in my life as the West Ham fans. It don't want to hear it. Who the hell says C You next Tuesday in public?? Disgusting morons.

Agree Quel but how many were penalties?...like Messi,RVP and Ronaldo they always give a false impression.
 
RV, completely agree about That'lldo. This horse owes me some money after falling at Cheltenham and if I thought he was well in then then I have to back him again today. I've doubled him up with Fame and Glory who I agree should be too good and is now evens. Good luck all.
 
BTW O'Briens horses very rarely well named but that 2yo I am on about CRISTOFORO COLUMBO by Henrythenavigator out of La Traviatta is very good.
