Yep. Wish we had PSG's money

You must log in or register to see media

Our owner is loaded, somewhere around the £60billion mark the family's company is worth but obviously that doesn't translate to what the club is worth. If we somehow manage to get the elusive promotion back to the premier league I think we'll see some serious money spent

After tipping today's winner of the rescheduled Ayr gold cup to a few friends - I forgot to back him myself <doh> at least I'll got a few beers waiting for me! My selections are

Arc - Winter + Order Of St George

OOSG imo Is a guaranteed place as I put in my earlier post on the arc thread. However had a change of heart for Winter. Was not 100% and AOB kept telling us she would come on for the run. This apparently has always been the plan and she is imo thb only one who could beat a 99% fit. Enable ok so there are questions marks over stamina however aiden doesn't get it wrong often and with Ryan on board it smacks to be backed!! Enable is the likeliest winner however at her odds I don't mind taking her on and if she wins like superstar then great! I won't mind losing my money to a superstar and will enjoy the performance too

ABBAYE- BATTASH- Absolutely destroyed Marsha at goodwood and everyone thought he was the next Muharaar he then flopped at York when he got work d up however the walk From the stables at york wasn't ideal and he got stressed and you could see that before the stalls. Ok so your gambling on the fact too h won't get worked up however this will suit him much more. Before goodwood everyone was questioning whether he would handle thb soft ground then after that performance it was so good people were saying he needs it soft however class horses perform on any ground and that's exactly What he does and is and you can always forgive 1 bad performance especially when all the evidence adds up and if he does stay calm i see non reason why Marsha beats him

FORET- ACCLAIM- ok so needs things to go his way however with Limato out the race the race is here foR him to win and the form of his two GR2 Wins are very strong and is best this season on offer and should win

Good Luck all <ok>

Some flat meeting going on over in France apparently but I've got my punting pants on over in Ireland...

3:25 - EX PATRIOT 5/1

Good luck!!

Just one bet for me today as I get involved in the big day of racing at Chantilly

Abbaye: Queen Kindly 40/1 each way 4 places.

Could be well suited to the drop back to 5 furlongs. Hoping they don't see too much more rain at the track.

Also like one of the De Bromhead runners in the 4pm - CLASSIC THEATRE 18/1. Won last two appearances and has a lovely pedigree that one.

Put the two above in a small trixie with RATHVINDEN 11/10.

16:35 Chantilly - Finsbury Square e/w

(Decent French sprinter who seems to run well at Chantilly. The 20/1 readily available at time of writing seems a sporting Sunday bet, so that'll do for me. Couldn't ask for a better jockey either).

Battaash in the Abbaye,
OOST and Dschingis Secret ew in the Arc.

That looks like a decent call, SwanHills - I was just hovering between that and Alphabet at the same odds. Went against you purely on the group 2 form on the heavier side of good, but am now thinking it may be another <doh> moment for me.
Good Luck all the same.:emoticon-0100-smile

Idaho at 33/1 will do as an each way bet in the Arc. Conditions should suit him and a reproduction of his King George run would give him a decent chance of placing. Although I'd love to see Enable bolt up.

I think the Moyglare form is a cut above in the two year-old fillies form. I'll have Happily and Magical in a double.

Also gone for Rhodadendhron, Battash and Brando.

Enable and Ulysses are a class above and 11/1 Ulysses looks far too big, Dschingis Secret looks the only other danger to me and I think they will fill the first 3.

The Japanese horse is 40/1 and would have been second fav if he won his trial, clearly didnt run his race there and id expect much better from him here but the ground is obviously a big negative, he needed 3 weeks of dry weather to have any chance. Still expect him to be top 6 as he is a different class animal to vast majority of these.

No idea why OOSG is second fav, was well beaten off a dream trip in a weaker race last year, doesnt have the gears to do anything fast enough in the straight.
