I had a look back through a few weeks worth of threads to see what I'd been missing and I have to say Stick you have been outstanding at picking the bumper horses and reading the races spot on. Well done and keep up the good work

Cheers lads. It's not been ten in a row but certainly the strike rate has been fairly decent. I was particularly chuffed with the Festival bumper winner and I have to say I don't think enough has been made in the racing news feeds that she was creating such history.
I will be really interested to see if she turns up at Aintree but I rather suspect they may wait for Punchestown. Intriguing also to fathom what her Cheltenham target may be next year. She was value for a lot more than the winning distance last week and looks a Neptune type.

you're being very humble stick , fairly decent strike rate my a r s e -- it's outstanding -- level profit must be phenomenal in the last three weeks ....agree with you about Fayonagh , it pays to watch that race and see how she did it , out the back most of the way , and then made relentless but seemingly effortless progress and swept up the hill like a special horse , made all the others look mere mortals .......

What history? Total Enjoyment (who I recall also backing) won the Champion Bumper for Tommy Cooper and was led in to great scenes by the trainer's son, non other than a certain Bryan Cooper as a young lad <ok>

Agree she was amazing and certainly helped my Wednesday punting big style!

No gripe with you here beefy but its amazing how many guys who havent posted selections have come on here post festival and claimed winner and winnings. I am amazed than any of us can still find a bookie to have a bet with because they should by rights all have been wiped out by the festival success of the masses!

I could name names but why bother!

I had forgotten Total Enjoyment. Obviously that is why a bigger deal hasnt been made out of Fayonagh's win!

Haa, no worries stick, we all aftertime from time to time, even you have I'm sure! Doesn't hurt anyone I'd say! My point wasn't that I had backed it, it was actually because I thought you had stated the Elliott mare made history by being the first mare to win the bumper and I was simply pointing out there was no history made as it was done before, unless you are referring to something else? <ok>

I honestly thought she was the first but I stand corrected. Bumper King maybe, bumper historian....definitely not! ;-)

Sorry I am so late but was very busy yesterday. Thank you very much, Stick. Since I cannot pick a winner to save my life I had a go with your advice, and on my daughter's birthday too! Icing on the cake after a great day with the family when I returned home and saw the result! <cheers>

(Erm, digressing, things are looking-up at the Bush? 5-goals? They didn't know how to score one for months on end?).

Bloody hell stick, I knew you had been doing well but didn't realise it was that well. Should have been staking in accumulators/L15s etc. At those prices a nice fat profit could have been made. Don't bloody tempt me <laugh>
