Done some ew shots for later 300 ayr Ian Duncan does well here , his Strong Economy at 14/1 looks the likelier of his two .... i’ve also gone with Dynamo Walt in the 310 wolves , lewis edmunds rides although it’s drifted to 12/1
well, sadly, you were Right. thurles,2 45: he aint much of a Price, but FOOTPAD is the class act here, and though this will be no cake walk for him, should still be too good for These, barring accidents..
Some superb calls there lads Real Steel was impressive wasn't he, looked as though Footpad was pinging his fences and going to win but Real Steel came there tanking around the final bend and scored in decisive fashion.
samstown is the stable hack nowadays , he’s a old horse on the down , be hard to get another win out of him , plenty of hay money for the places though
A tame effort from Footpad today - looked like a Tony Martin runner trying to get its handicap mark down. Jumped beautifully but when Real Steel went on Jacob never even tried to get Footpad to respond - just coasted home for second under hands and heels. I'd feel mugged if I'd backed him TBH.
Wow WTF how cool was that from Coolbane Boy? Travelled all over the Mullins hotpot and put it to bed nicely. Might be a big day out at Cheltenham for a small yard?
Maybe, highly doubt that form is good enough. Willie's bumper runners are often over estimated and word gets about that such and such is catching pigeons at home one day and the public get word and it grows into something it never should. He would have so many horses for bumpers and one or two may work well at home on a given day and then people get carried away with it. Don't be surprised to see JP out for the winner and finish nowhere in March, if it even goes that route. The Winner just added another zero to the selling price. Richard Newland had bought this horse for 30k but sent him back before the 14 days was up... Ooops.
How do you rate the filly of Willie that won at Market Rasen the other day? Very professional I thought.
She looked good didn't she, couldn't have done it much easier, think she was actually over for the bumper at Cheltenham but missed out, so that was compensation. She will surely be one of several who will take the trip in March and then its all guesswork isn't it, and luck.
Very snuggly in the end. Need to replay to Rainer about Newcastle form if I get chance later... it’s something I’ve been pondering for a while.
Stick will have a view in this I'm sure, but for a 4YO filly on racecourse debut that was a very, very professional performance. I'm not exactly sure of the conditions for the champion bumper but she will get at least a stone from the boys (maybe even more) and if she comes on for that debut (which I imagine she will) then anything could happen.
Nice double there. I missed Glinger Flame but got on Emma Beag in the last, only winner I backed all day.
Very taking performance. I actually thought the two 4yo's would be involved in the finish because of the huge wfa allowance but my pereference before the race was for the one with experience. If she were wine I would swerve Cheltenham this year and take her to Aintree and then Punchestown, Long term she looks to have massive potential and we know how good the yard are when they have a classy lady on the books. Early prices for the 2021 Mares novice at Cheltenham would be very interesting. She won with bags in hand and we must not forget what a classy field that was.
She would carry 10st 4lb at Cheltenham The 4yo colts 10st 11lb, they 5yo+ colts 11st 5lb. They will be tempted
Last four year old to win it? Go on Oddy that’s a question made for you!! No four year old mare has won it if my googling is correct
