The 2.10 at Tramore looks like an interesting novice hurdle with the Mullins / Walsh / Ricci Debutant Karl Der Grosse priced up at 4/6. Stablemate Sweet Flight won his bumper and makes plenty of appeal at 3/1 and Gordon Elliot has a couple entered too, notably Silver Star who ran creditably at Galway and should come on for that. Sweet Flight for me.

Had a bet on Zain Hana 9/1 each way which looks an improving sort in the listed race at Pontefract. Trainer is operating at a 43% strike rate over last 14 days which gives further confidence.

not easy,as there are quite a few,that look ahead of their marks,but the main contenders might well be CHASMA and royal supremo.while theres not a lot between them on form,the former gets a slight nod,as she goes well fresh,and is not handicapped out of things.also came her last win at this venue,under identical conditions,so a big run in store..

this looks a hot little contest,but if former swinton hurdle hero JOHN CONSTABLE takes to fences first time up,he should have no trouble here,even if some of his rivals are no slouches either..but big shout anyway!!

over at deauville,the prix morny is coming up,and it was a tough decision for me between PRETTY POLLYANNA and signora cabello,but the latter has already had some hard races this season,so the bell filly might be a bit fresher here.but not really much between these two..what a tough little horse!! great effort to get back up again!!

a very competitive contest,and very few,that can be left out of calculations here.a very narrow nod goes to useful ex-hurdler JALEO,who has made a really good start over fences,and his last win is working out pretty well.a 3 lbr rise for that win looks fair enough,so he has a decent e w shout here..

zebi boy is the big improver,and much respected,but THE DEVILS DROP has probably the stronger form,and has gone up 7 lbr for his rout last time out,which isnt unduly hard,and the second horse that day,bugsie malone,has scored again since,so he looks very solid..

not the strongest of races,but COSMIC TIGRESS could be the one here.she won the corresponding race 12 months ago,and is back on the same mark again,so very good chance today..
