Hurricane fly may be past his best because he was 3rd in a champion hurdle and only won by 2 1/2 lengths at Punchestown nonsense the fly is still a beast. It says everything that he is out this early he is working like a beasttttt again comeeee on. Go Native is a nice horse and I like him but even at his best he is no match for the fly look at his hurdling form imagine what the Fly would do to Medermit and Starluck http://www.attheraces.com/form.aspx?raceid=199290&meetingid=&date=2008-12-27&ref=form&refsite= this was when Go Native was good so how can he possiblly be beating the fly ?
same oddy, was on at 50s for the Supreme, won me a fortune as a novice hurdler that day Hurricane Fly beat him 10 lengths I knew I had seen something I remember I got it 9/2 one morning, knew it was a goodthing, backed into 9/4 fav and won on the bit, as per the script
Right I'm off before I lump the lot of Wishful Thinking. Be back for the 2.50, gonna see if I can find one in that but I think I've had my winner
Couldn't be backing Wishfull Thinking 0/4 over 2m and 1/6 at Cheltenham DOESLESSTHANME my idea of the winner
How the hell is Imperial Shabra having to give Wishful Thinking 2 pounds Maguire might get a tune out of that btw, horse should suit him, only beat 17 lengths by Baily Green, world class form Up Monagan!! im on, all the way Imperial, laid out for it
Horribly priced race isn't it- 2/5 The Fly, 5/2 Go Native. I think Go Native will make a good fist of this purely on the face of it being tactical. However Hurricane for me is just different class, especially on this sort of ground. Will be interesting to seee what sort of form he shapes in- can he bounce back?
**** it i'm on wishfull ****ing thinking. mug Also, the 2.50 looks super competitive and there isn't one that jumps off of the page at a price but I'm going to throw a couple of e/w beans at Snap Tie at 16s.
if WIshful Thinking is anywhere near its best it will destroy them, in going in with a sentimental up monagan bet though
Right come on Dickie Agree with RV, Go Native was going best but I'm not sure he would have got there. Unlucky though, would have liked to see the finish.
aye if history if anything to go by, Go Native wouldnt have went went past him, never know though, he hadnt been asked a question but who knows
Agreed Boris will never know but I would have been confident still if on the Fly. Hopefully he is ok after that fall Meade certainly has him back to his best.
Would've been nice to see. Carberry obviously looking to hold him together to the last, big fast jump and then throw the ktchen sink at him up the straight. Shame it never materialised and hope horse & jockey OK
