As you know I put up Jack Dace as an apprentice to follow... rode a peach in the first at Doncaster tonight for David Pipe.

Today, Sunday, he rides one for his Dad. LUNARIO Newmarket 4.45.

Last time it ran it was 4th to My Cloud at Ascot in a Class 3 over a mile, which won again at Newbury today and will be very strongly fancied for the Hunt Cup at RA. It was beaten 7 and 3/4 lengths 'pressed leader weakened gradually from one out. Its been dropped a 1lb, races over 7f tomorrow (usually races over a mile) in a Class 4, 1 from 1 at Newmarket albeit over a mile.

Might be great value at 14/1 Bet 365... 4 places.

Some good races at Naas today but having a job finding a bet

Just watched the Preakness from last night. Saffie Osbourne what a great jockey she is. Last and well last with 3 to go, got up to finish 5th running on really strongly. Not sure it faced the kick back as couldnt go a yard early...I wonder if they'll have a crack at the Belmont with the experience behind them.

It was a rough old race up the home straight. Lord knows what French stewards would have made of it

Lady Iman (won at 2/1) was 14lb clear on Timeform ratings. Price clearly inflated due to the money for AOB's maiden winner. Simply not astounding

Won its race. Unfortunately one stayed far side and won cosily. Still, not a loser..

Good interview on ITV 4 with Jack Dace. He has just gone to Ralph Beckett...
