Well done with Russian Ice, the drift back out on Shaunas Spirit told the story before the race. Good Price last night and still 8/1 earlier today.

    Cracking shout at 16s UC

Well done with Foxrock Fabio and Ste, that was some performance carrying a fair weight in a handicap like that.

And anyone else if ive missed.

Good to see Vautour back on track, I thought he jumped well enough and was particularly impressed by the way he negotiated the last. I was surprised to see Coopers tactics effectively gifting the race to Ruby on a horse who just excels in those circumstances, I doubt it would have mattered today but surely he had to go for the lead early on a horse who has been front running and who stays well to try and at least test Vautours jumping.

With that in mind im not sure we learned anything more with regards to Cheltenham, it was a schooling session really and the bookies reaction as always was criminal.

My Irish beasts all ran well today, particularly Heaney who placed behind Foxrock at 33s but none of them ever really threatened to win. Rightdownthemiddle had a horrendous time in the Boylesports but ran really well and he has to be looked at next time, possibly in a lesser race and over a bit further.

I wont claim Russian Ice on here as I didnt get it posted the night before but my first strike of the weekend in the last race after getting some stuff right but not being able to make it pay.
