Valseur Lido does have a King George entry as well as a Lexus entry, as do several Gigg horses including Road To Riches, Don Poli, Sub Lieutenant, so I would expect something to run for the operation at Kempton.

Re Thistlecrack I would send him to the Feltham Boxing Day and then the Denman Chase in February for his first taste of open company - exactly what the Bradstocks did with Coneygree.

You are right. I always check Irishracing.com for the entries and they aren't the sharpest at times. Sporting life show the full entries. Still can't see him going to Kempton.

Lovely pissed in-Patrick's decision to go to Thurles over Navan is enough to sway me to back Sharpes Choice in the last.I'll dbl it up with Samcro to juice up the price to 7/4 for a final Xmas punt

Sharpe's choice no good:Samcro nothing special there and won't be winning no champion bumper that's for sure:Good days punting even though I had a couple done on the line. Wont be wearing my horsey punting socks til St Stephens day now.Looking forward to seeing Douvan at Ltown on 27th.Switching codes Skybet have enhanced Ozil first scorer v City 14s from 9s so will have a slice of that to make things interesting

You'd like to see an Irish challenge at Kempton park on Boxing Day. I'd have thought that with the number of chasers on Gigginstown books that they could send someone, having sent Don Cossack last season. If not Valseur Lido, then perhaps a second season chaser. (Sun Lieutenant or something of that ilk).

What a crying shame we don't have Vautour lining up for a second crack after his brilliant effort last year :(

I remember last year's King George so well as I was still in hospital after my bike accident. The wife came to visit me with about 5 fences left to jump and I just said to her "sit down, I won't be a minute" <laugh> I'd had a ton on Cue Card at 9/2 and nearly fell out of bed when he won. A strange yet unforgettable Christmas last year, but will be glad I'm not repeating it <ok>

There won't be any Gigginstown runners over for the King George <ok> Going to be a hugely disappointing race this year by the look of it. Hopefully something in lovely pink and green spots will show up in the Christmas Hurdle...

Josses Hill will win the King George, Cue Card is a bookie horse.
