Had a word for Quiz Mistress. 2.20 Salisbury. Dont like it myself....too much weight for me....but thought I'd pass it on regardless PMSL that is the best yet more like well done for sharing though
Looks like an improver then. Backed Dubai glory for a place, so still a profitable race. Better than backing them short priced AOB favs eh?
Haha nice aftertime. Ohh and I don't mind backing a few O'Brien short prices when I backed the oaks winner at 50s KABOOSH
KISSED is O'Briens best filly when the ground is right for her. The problem I have is that I'm pretty convinced she will be seen to better effect over a mile and a half. I think she is the winner of the Irish Oaks. I do think Joseph O'Brien will look to get to the fron on her today and lead them all in. If she doesnt do it today then just take the better value when she runs the Irish Oaks, if she wins today then great stuff! Best e/w value of the race is Valyra 20/1, who won a conditions event very easily last time out when possibly not expected to have won in that manner, so I think Aga Khan sends this one as very muh the dark horse to Dalkala, who whilst smart hasn't faced anything of absolute top quality either. Both are unexposed, except one is 20/1 and has Jonny Murtagh on
Cheers fellas. RV you made a wise choice, I don't know what it is but French racing doesn't suit our classic type horses unless its the Arc. Joseph did the right thing with Kissed today in trying to set a gallop but she was just very keen early on, used up a lot of energy, and to be honest that ground didnt strike me as particularly soft. I still have Kissed down as Irish Oaks winner if she runs, sometimes you just have to put a line through a race for them and this will be one of them. Hopefully will; get some value if she runs in the Irish equivalent now. Thought the winner did it really nicely. Also if UP sorted out her head carriage, she'd be a serious filly. Very bad trip again today.
5.50 Cork Little Arrows 7/1 Put Ken Condon's 6 year old up two starts back at Leopardstown where he ran a cracker to finish 2nd on the heavy ground, with the front two pulling 2L clear of the remainder. On his last start over the same C+D he didn't perform very well but I think the ground was against him that day as it started the day off as good and its difficult to say how much rain got into the ground. He's back on a very testing surface which should definitely suit and he's only 3lb below his 0.5L defeat two starts ago. Moreover, he's 11lb below his last winning mark and is clearly well handicapped. Ken Condon has his horses in great order at present and Shane Foley takes over in the saddle again. With money coming again (did substantially for his 2nd but not LTO) connections looks like they are looking for some compensation and I certainly feel he is more than capable of landing this event.
What a carve up in Our Johnathan's race I hope the stewards looked at it and dealt out suspensions. Almost certainly cost him victory!
left a message for you on league comps thread from yesterday . You really must be blind by the way the horse lost by a neck
