On the train back up north, had a cracking day at ascot not many winners lol but good day, facilities are first class the atmosphere though IMO leaves something to be desired. Maybe the jumps meets have better atmospheres than flat equivalents as nothing comes close to Cheltenham...
Although York is good, Epsom isn't bad either New'm / Ascot doesn't seem the same.

Great ride by Ruby to get De Valira up there - First Lieutenant let down by his jumping, looked very ponderous at a few of them
