Couldn't believe what I was seeing at Punchy. What an anti climax after seeing Sprinter cruise to victory
Had the winner at font well lumped on sprintre , then had Wicklow brave. Ups and downs of jumps racing. That's why we love it.
Can't quite believe Sprinter Sacre won the way he did, I wouldn't quite say he's back to his very best, but he's certainly going to be a force to be reckoned with if he can maintain that form to Cheltenham. Un De Sceaux is no banker in my opinion, especially when he looks to have big jumping concerns. He won't beat the SS we seen today if he jumps like he did last season. I hope Beefy didn't lay him for to much
I still think SIMONSIG is the horse for the Champion Chase. If he goes and produces something akin to his best in the tingle creek that would really set up a Champion Chase!
No Shergy, I didn't have a bet or a lay in it, was glad to see him have one big hurrah, he was entitled to beat those getting weight, even on last seasons form. Still have huge reservations about him going forward but least it adds interest to the scene
Very happy to see that. Nearly 700 days off and ran a nice race on horrible ground to grav 3rd. Never a match for the winner Damut but should come on heaps after such an absence.
Jockeys are miserable buggers sometimes - a 16 year old lad wins the Greatwood and none of them shake his hand, poor sports
Why does Turf Tv bother showing Tanya Stevensons 'tips',I can't recall her actually ever tipping a winner
Taken another chance with one coming back from a lengthy absence (probably not wise with ground conditions). Blow the Doors Off 8/1 Punchestown 3.20. Steel Wave the obvious one to beat with race fitness but this guy is far superior to most of his rivals and should go close if ready to rock and roll.
If backed Willem for the pesky Pipes at about 70/1 on the exchange here. He might not get home today but he will pop up eventually at a price- travelled really well LTO and if he comes on for it he is overpriced.
